In 2023, Võ Nhai district cultivated nearly 5,000 hectares of rice, exceeding their plan by 104 percent. In particular, about 3,260 hectares sown during the rainy season, with almost 500 hectares devoted to hybrid rice, constituting 15 percent of the total area. For the entire year, Võ Nhai will harvest nearly 27,000 tons of rice, with an average rice yield of over 5.4 tons per hectare. 

To date, about 30 percent of the seasonal rice fields in Võ Nhai have already been harvested. This years seasonal crop is anticipated to yield around 17,300 tons.
