WEEK IN REVIEW (From September 4 to September 10, 2023)

Recently, Thai Nguyen Provincial Cooperative Alliance has organized 3 conferences to propagate collective economic development and cooperatives in 2023 in Song Cong city, Pho Yen city and Phu Binh district. More than 200 participants as officials in the economy field and representatives of cooperatives in the above 3 localities participated in the conferences. 

The Organizing Committee of the Program "Honoring the Provincial Exemplary Agricultural Products in 2023" has just issued a decision to recognize 37 products from 37 units, cooperatives, and cooperative groups as exemplary agricultural products.

To ensure urban aesthetics, public safety, and traffic safety, and to gradually complete the criteria of a civilized urban area, Dai Tu district has invested over 4.6 billion VND to construct a lighting system on National Highway 37, spanning through Cu Van commune and Ha Thuong commune, with a total length of over 7,000 meters, from kilometer 140+900 to kilometer 148+130. 

Over the past time, trade unions at all levels in the province have gradually improved the effectiveness of dialogue, negotiation, and the quality of collective labor agreements in enterprises. Thereby contributing to minimizing conflicts between the parties, bringing more favorable terms to employees.

“A new school year has begun. This marks both a return and a fresh start for all of us, filled with beautiful and memorable moments in life. No matter what your age, grade level, whether you live in the mountains or plains, near borders or on remote islands… always keep in mind that education is an important mission throughout your life”. These were the heartfelt words from President of Vietnam Vo Van Thuong, addressed to 23 million students nationwide on the joyous occasion of the back-to-school day (September 5, 2023). At Doi Can High School (Dai Tu District, Thai Nguyen Province), the joy was even more unique because today marked the school’s inauguration, and heard the first bell of the new academic year.

The availability of clean water from limestone ravines and protective watershed forests provides an ideal environment for developing cold-water aquaculture in Thai Nguyen. Taking advantage of this, the project "Application of Siberian sturgeon farming technology for commercial egg production in Thai Nguyen province" has been initiated and has yielded promising initial outcomes.
