Dai Tu’s widening of 6-metre-wide roads with the support of Nui Phao Mining

The expansion of neighborhood roads up to 6 meters wide is a movement launched by the Standing Committee of Dai Tu District Committee, Thai Nguyen province, demonstrated in Resolution No. 07-NQ/HU dated May 10, 2023.

With the motto "Government, businesses and the people joining hands", the locality’s objective is to attract resources, mobilize the participation of the entire political system, businesses and the people to invest in expanding rural roads; to promote the movement of asset and land donation for road construction. The goal of the movement is to expand village roads and inter-village connections, with the roadbed reaching at least Grade B standard. Specifically, less than 5 meters wide roads must be expanded to 6 meters or more; for roads from 5 meters to 6 meters wide, the plan for expansion of the roadbed to beyond 6 meters is encouraged.

In response to the Resolution, Nui Phao Mining (NPMC) has decided to provide substantial in-kind support with 3,000 tons of Quan Trieu PCB30 cement, amounting up to nearly VND 4 billion. The provision of 3,000 tons of cement by Nui Phao Mining not only helps Dai Tu district meet the criteria of new rural districts, but the spacious and durable rural transport system will significantly contribute to improving the quality of life for residents and upholding the region’s socio-economic development.

On the day of receiving 34 tons of cement at the 6-meter road construction site of the residential cluster in Hung Son, Mr. Nguyen Van Thien (Residential Cluster Leader of Xuan Dai Street, Hung Son Town, Dai Tu District) excitedly shared: "Since setting foot in this area, Nui Phao Mining has consistently demonstrated a strong purpose and direction in assisting and guiding us local residents in building economic development models to improve our living standards. The Company's provision of cement once again shows Nui Phao Mining's commitment to profit sharing and unwavering support for the local people".

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hao, Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Hung Son town, highlighted that Nui Phao Mining as role-model in commendable community relations with significant cement support. Dozens of tons of cement were delivered to the construction site where locals previously contributed land to enlarge the roadways, but everyone is still awaiting the cement resources in order to harden the road's surface.

Every year, the Company contributes over VND1.4 trillion to the State budget and provides USD 1 million to Thai Nguyen province to promote local socio-economic development activities.

At the meeting with local businesses in the province in the early spring of the Year of the Cat (Quy Mao) 2023, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai, a member of the Central Party Committee, the provincial Party Secretary, and Head of Thai Nguyen provincial National Assembly delegation, praised the significant contributions of the Company to the socio-economic development of the locality.

Being a prominent business in Dai Tu district, Nui Phao Mining has always worked hand in hand with the locality, helping communes and towns achieve the goals of new rural development and advanced new rural development. Most recently, on July 20th, the Company donated 1,500 garbage bins to Ha Thuong commune, with a total value of over 300 million VND in order to create a more environment-friendly landscape in the commune.

Talking about Nui Phao Company's substantial contributions, Vice Chairman of Dai Tu District People's Committee - Tran Dang Minh further insisted that Nui Phao Mining has always strived for sustainable development through economic growth and community support activities.
