Samsung Thai Nguyen proposed an interest in training information technology human resources 

On the afternoon of July 18, The delegation led by Deputy Minister Nguyen Huy Dung, Ministry of Information and Communications, worked with Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen. 

The delegation visited Samsung Thai Nguyen.

According to the assessment of the Ministry of Information and Communications, the difficulties of the world economy have recently greatly affected the production and business activities of enterprises, including information technology (ICT) enterprises. 

Identifying Samsung Thai Nguyen as a large enterprise that impacts Vietnam's ICT industry, the Ministry of Information and Communications delegation came there to grasp the production and business situation and promptly remove the difficulties of enterprises.

Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Huy Dung and the delegation worked at Samsung Thai Nguyen.

At the meeting, the leader of Samsung Thai Nguyen introduced an overview of the company's operations, plans, and development orientation for production and business. 

Samsung has produced and supplied 5G network equipment to European countries. So, enterprises expressed their wish to participate in providing these products in the Vietnamese market.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Huy Dung suggested that Samsung Thai Nguyen accompany Vietnamese ICT enterprises to produce high-quality products, especially semiconductor chips, and interested in training information technology human resources in Vietnam in general and Thai Nguyen province in particular, contributing to promoting digital transformation.

The delegation visited and inspected the Yen Binh Information Technology Park project implementation on the same day. This is a centralized information technology park approved by the Prime Minister and added to the master plan for developing a centralized information technology park towards 2025. This information technology park has a scale of 200 hectares, located in Pho Yen City and Phu Binh district.
