Thai Nguyen to highly concentrate on site clearance and construction of Linkage Road

Checking the implementation progress of the Linkage Road Project connecting the provinces of Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang and Vinh Phuc, this morning (July 6), Mr. Trinh Viet Hung, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the efforts of the investor, contractor and related branches and localities in site clearance and construction. Regarding some problems in terms of site clearance that may slow down the overall progress of the project, he asked the investor and localities to highly concentrate on solving them quickly and definitively.

Directly inspecting and grasping the situation at some construction sites in Tan Huong ward, Phuc Thuan commune (Pho Yen city), Quan Chu town, Cat Ne commune (Dai Tu district), the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the investor (the Provincial Management Board of Transportation Construction and Investment Projects) and local leaders to report in detail the progress of site clearance and difficulties as well as solutions and deadlines.

He highly appreciated the efforts and implementation methods of Pho Yen City when the City had established many functional groups in charge of site clearance, divided the workload, then regularly urged and directed to solve problems. Up to now, Pho Yen has counted property of 2,147/2,516 affected households; 462/462 graves; approved the compensation plan for nearly 1,500 households with a total budget of 424 billion VND; handed over 42.2/146.86 hectares.

Dai Tu district has 9.1 kilometer of the road running through. So far, the locality has counted property of 252/254 affected households; 66/66 graves; approved the plan of compensation and site clearance for 147 households with a budget of over 28 billion VND; handed over 16,83/41.11 hectares…

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that the good results in site clearance that had achieved in such a short time were very remarkable, showing the efforts of the localities and the investor, especially the high consensus of the people. Regarding problems reported by the investor and contractor, he asked localities to continue to have appropriate solutions and deadlines, strengthen coordination, ensure legitimate interests of the people.

Regarding the construction situation, the contractor is the Joint Venture of Corporation 319 - Hoang Son Trade Construction Energy Investment Joint Stock Company - Minh Dang One Member Company Limited is simultaneously implementing 19 construction projects, digging and embanking the road, clean the ground at the assigned locations. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested the contractor focus on human resources and equipment, make construction plans to ensure the quality, rate of progress and labor safety; at the same time, strengthen supervision during the project implementation.

Inspecting the resettlement area serving the Project in Quan Chu town, the Chairman of the People's Committee affirmed that accelerating the progress of the resettlement area was very important for the overall progress of the Project and stabilization in life of affected households. Currently, Pho Yen City is building 10 resettlement areas, Dai Tu district has 3 areas to serve the project, all of them are expected to be eligible for land allocation this year.
