Thai Nguyen Tourism Season 2022 kicks off - "Discover the legendary land"

On April 24th, Thai Nguyen Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the opening ceremony of Tourism Season in 2022 with the theme "Discover the legendary land".

Mr. Ta Quang Dong - Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; representatives of central ministries and branches; leaders of People's Councils and People's Committees of Thai Nguyen and some northern provinces attended the ceremony. 

The opening of Thai Nguyen Tourism Season in 2022 is one of the most important events to stimulate demand and restore tourism activities of Thai Nguyen province in particular and the country in general. This is also an opportunity for Thai Nguyen province to introduce and promote tangible and intangible cultural values, unique tourism products of the province to domestic and foreign tourists.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Dang Xuan Truong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that Thai Nguyen identifies tourism as an important economic sector; The goal is to strive to receive 3,250,000 visitors by 2025, with total revenue from tourism reaching 3,000 billion VND/year. 

The province has been implementing many synchronous solutions to enhance the province's tourism potential, focusing on forming unique, characteristic, and highly competitive tourism products. At the same time, the province strengthens digital transformation and 4.0 technology applications to introduce, advertise and promote tourism. 

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Ta Quang Dong highly appreciated the close direction and concern of the Provincial People's Committee in quickly restoring tourism activities in the locality. He said that the opening program of the Thai Nguyen tourism season in 2022 is the beginning of a series of tourism events to realize the program of reopening tourism activities in Thai Nguyen province in the new normal condition. He believes that Thai Nguyen tourism, with its potential, will continue to be effectively exploited and promoted to attract more and more tourists to Thai Nguyen.

At the program, leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, leaders of Thai Nguyen province, and related departments and units pressed the button to kick off Thai Nguyen Tourism Season 2022. They witnessed the signing cooperation program for inter-provincial tourism development between the Thai Nguyen Provincial Tourism Association and the Tourism Association of Hanoi city, Vinh Phuc province, Ninh Binh province, and Hanoi Tours Company.
