To establish community digital technology groups supporting people

Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee issued a dispatch on researching and implementing community digital technology group model to support people on digital transformation. 

Previously, on March 5, 2022, the Ministry of Information and Communications issued a document guiding the pilot implementation of community digital technology groups in localities. They are responsible for carrying out propaganda activities or guiding and supporting people to use digital technology platforms. The group helps people access technology naturally, stemming from needs and creating practical value.

According to the above Ministry, depending on the characteristics, each village, hamlet or a residential group can have a group to support people.

The Chairman assigned the Department of Information and Communications to assume the prime responsibility for coordinating with relevant sectors and units to research, advise and soon organize groups.
