Nearly 2.6 thousand additional workers were recruited

According to the Provincial Management Board of Industrial Zones, from the Lunar New Year to March 10, 31 enterprises in the provincial industrial zones have recruited 2,596 workers.  

To date, the total number of employees in the provincial industrial zones reached 99,430, of which 1,143 are foreigners. It is expected that by the end of the first quarter of 2022, the total revenue of enterprises will reach USD 8.82 billion; export value will reach USD 7.58 billion. The units will contribute VND 2,486 billion to the national budget, rising 24.3 percent compared to the same period last year. 

According to 2022’s plan, the Provincial Management Board strives to complete important targets. In particular, industrial production value will reach USD 33 trillion and over VND 11 trillion; the export value of goods will amount to VND 29.5 billion. Besides, 10 thousand new workers; VND 9 trillion for the State budget; 20 new investment projects are also key targets of this year. Besides, dialogue conferences will be held to promptly solve investors’ difficulties and issues.
