National Science and Technology Contest: Thai Nguyen wins two first prizes

The National Science and Technology Contest for secondary and high school students in the school year 2021-2022 is organized online by the Ministry of Education and Training from March 24 to the end of March 27, 2022.

The contest attracted 144 projects from 273 high school students under 60 Departments of Education and Training and 11 high schools. 

Thai Nguyen Department of Education and Training has two projects participating in the contest. Both of them won the first prize. Significantly, these have entered the English interview round for an international contest. It is the best result that the province's science and technology team has achieved in the ten last contests. 

The first project is the treatment of obesity in the field of Biomedical and Health Sciences, which is researched by students Nguyen Huu Hieu; Tran Thi Thu Phuong; teacher Vu Thi Lien, Thai Nguyen High School for the Gifted. 

The second project is in the field of Cell Biology and molecule. The project is researched by students Dao Xuan Minh, Nguyen Le Cuong, teacher Truong Thi Thanh, Thai Nguyen High School for the Gifted.

Due to the complicated situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Education and Training does not hold the awarding ceremony for students and teachers.
