According to the General Statistics Office's report, the total export value of the province in February gained over USD 2.39 billion, decreasing 6.3 percent compared to the previous month, rising 29 percent compared to the same period last year.
In particular, domestic export value reached USD 41.4 million, rising 27.8 percent over the same period; foreign export value was valued at USD 2.35 billion, decreasing 5.8 percent compared to last month.
The main export groups amounted to over USD 2.252 billion, including smartphones, tablets, and other electronic products. In general, export value in 2 first months of 2020 gained nearly USD 5 billion.
To reach 2022's export target, the Provincial People's Committee has directed departments, branches, and localities to continue implementing measures to prevent and control the pandemic and pay attention to support businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The above units need to strengthen administrative procedure reform in investment licensing and expand industrial zones and clusters projects.
