Allocating 144,960 doses of COVID-19 vaccine to localities

Recently, Thai Nguyen quickly implemented the COVID-19 vaccination for people due to create community immunity and minimizing severe, critical, and fatal cases. 

According to the Provincial Center for Disease Control, after 27 rounds of the COVID-19 vaccination campaign, health units have injected at least one dose of vaccine to 908,098 people aged 18 and above, reached 98.9 percent, and two shots for 889,169 people, reached 96.9 percent. 

107,075 children aged 12-17-year-old were administered two shots, reached 96.9 percent. 

On March 4th, the Provincial People’s Committee has a Decision on allocating 144,960 doses for the COVID-19 vaccination campaign, including 115,000 AstraZeneca doses and 29,960 Moderna doses. 

Currently, localities are continuing to accelerate the progress of the 28th vaccination round to ensure safety, effectiveness, and suitable subjects.
