Power plants produce stably

Thai Nguyen is one of few provinces in the North which produces electricity locally.

The province has currently three power generation units in 2 forms: thermal power and hydro-power, including Cao Ngan Thermal Power Plant (Quang Vinh Ward, Thai Nguyen City) and An Khanh 1 Thermal Power Plant (An Khanh commune, Dai Tu district), both have a designed capacity of 115 MW; Nui Coc Lake Hydro-power Plant (Phuc Triu Commune, Thai Nguyen City) has a capacity of 1,890 kW.

These three factories are operating stably, reaching the designed capacity. In particular, to serve the great demand for electricity of the people, two thermal power plants use all two units with maximum capacity during and after the Lunar New Year. Particularly, Ho Nui Coc Hydro-power Plant has three generators operating smoothly because of the right season to discharge water for serving agricultural production.

Phu Luong pilots drones in rice growing

On February 14, Phu Luong District Agricultural Service Center and Dai Thanh Joint Stock Company (Bac Ninh province) used a pilot drone to sow rice and spray pesticides on spring crop area in Dong Cham hamlet, Dong Dat commune.
