Phu Luong pilots drones in rice growing

On February 14, Phu Luong District Agricultural Service Center and Dai Thanh Joint Stock Company (Bac Ninh province) used a pilot drone to sow rice and spray pesticides on spring crop area in Dong Cham hamlet, Dong Dat commune.

They piloted the drone model on about 4.5 hectares of spring rice from 45 households. It is the first time the locality has demonstrated the application of 3-in-1 drone technology, including spreading manure, sowing rice, and spraying pesticides in rice growing. 

This technology helps farmers save costs, labor, pesticides, and fertilizers compared to traditional methods and minimize harm to humans and the environment, thereby increasing work efficiency and productivity compared to manual methods.
