Thai Nguyen to inject COVID-19 vaccine for teenagers 12 to 17 years

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a plan to implement the COVID-19 vaccination campaign for teenagers 12 to 17 years in the province.

Accordingly, Thai Nguyen has set a target for over 95 percent of teenagers 12 to 17 years to be vaccinated with two shots of the COVID-19 vaccine. The province will inject free all COVID-19 vaccine doses provided according to regulations.

The vaccination campaign will be carried out from December 2021 and in 2022, according to the distribution of vaccines of the Ministry of Health. The province only uses vaccines recommended by the manufacturer and the Ministry of Health. 

The injection sites are at schools (for school-going children) and at health stations, schools, or locals (children who do not attend school). Children with diseases will be vaccinated at health centers and district hospitals.
