Inaugurating Dongwha Viet Nam Factory

Recently, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, attended the inauguration ceremony of Dongwha Vietnam Factory at Song Cong II Industrial Zone. Also attending were Mr. Duong Van Luong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of some provincial departments, branches, and Song Cong city.

Dongwha Vietnam Limited Company, a member of Dongwha Group (Korea), is one of the world's leading companies manufacturing wood and industrial wood products. The company started the project at the end of 2019 on 500,000 meters square with a total investment of 160 million USD. 

Speaking at the ceremony, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized the province's correct guidelines and open policies to attract domestic and foreign investors. To date, the province has 171 FDI projects with a total registered capital of over USD8.7 billion.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledged the efforts in implementing the project in the province. The project not only allows Thai Nguyen to receive and transfer advanced technology, management experience, create jobs, increase income for employees, but it also creates a positive spread to other investors.

Facing the complicated situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the company to actively coordinate with departments, branches, and localities to ensure the COVID-19 pandemic control and prevention.
