Applying traceability system for OCOP products

Recently, Thai Nguyen Department of Science and Technology and the National Center for Codes and Barcodes under the Directorate for Standards, Metrology, and Quality have surveyed and guided three cooperatives of the province to apply the traceability system for key agricultural products.

The three cooperatives selected as the pilot models to apply the traceability system include Hao Dat tea cooperative, Son Dung tea cooperative, Tam Tra Thai cooperative. These are cooperatives with typical OCOP products of the province.

The above cooperatives are guided and supported by experts from the National Center for Codes and Barcodes to build a traceability process for products and connect their products with the national portal on product traceability.

These supports aim at publicity and transparency of production process information to improve the value and competitiveness of OCOP products and improve the efficiency of State management and the quality and safety of products.

Gross output of construction industry is expected to increase 7.2 percent

According to the Department of Planning and Investment, the gross output of construction industry in 2021 in the province is estimated at nearly 24 trillion VND, rising 7.2 percent compared to 2020.
