Gross output of construction industry is expected to increase 7.2 percent

According to the Department of Planning and Investment, the gross output of construction industry in 2021 in the province is estimated at nearly 24 trillion VND, rising 7.2 percent compared to 2020.

In particular, construction enterprises with domestic capital reached VND 22.2 trillion (accounting for 92.5 percent), rising 10.7 percent compared to the same period. The construction enterprises with foreign-invested enterprises estimated at VND 1.8 trillion, decreasing 22.6 percent. 

By type of works, the production value of housing construction reached VND 12 trillion (accounting for 50.1%), rising 9.1 percent compared to 2020. The production value of non-residential houses reached nearly VND 5.6 trillion, increasing 11.3%; the rest is the value of civil engineering works and specialized construction activities reaching VND 6.4 trillion, rising 0.6 percent.
