Thai Nguyen honors typical enterprises and excellent entrepreneurs

On the occasion of Vietnamese Entrepreneur's Day (October 13), Thai Nguyen held the ceremony to honor the typical enterprises and excellent entrepreneurs of 2021. 

Attending the ceremony were Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Member of the Party Central Committee, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Trinh Viet Hung, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Pham Hoang Son, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, some Departments, Branches and over 300 excellent entrepreneurs. 

Currently, the province has more than 7,800 registered enterprises. Over the past time, despite facing many difficulties due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, enterprises have made great efforts to overcome difficulties, maintain the "green zone", and actively contribute to the overall socio-economic development of the province.

In the past nine months, enterprises have contributed VND 8,800 billion to the State budget (accounting for 75 percent of the province's total budget revenue). They have maintained the production and business and accompanied the government in implementing solutions to improve the administrative reform index in 2020.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and contributions of the business community in the local socio-economic development over the past time. In particular, in the difficult context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the business community still support the community activities such as: Donating more than VND 50 billion to support the COVID-19 prevention and control; supporting 400 tablets and smartphones (equal to about VND 800 million) for the program "Waves and computers for children". 

The provincial leaders awarded certificates to 10 excellent entrepreneurs in 2021.

With the spirit of "the enterprises' success is the province's success", recently, the province has decided to support 200,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine for employees working in industrial zones. 

In the coming time, the province will continue to invite and attract investors to industrial zones and clusters and create an equal competitive environment for enterprises' development. Besides, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that the business community continue to promote emulation and commendation movements, take care of the material and spiritual life of employees, strengthen digital transformation in governance to improve production and business efficiency.
