142 students participate in internship program in Israel

On October 23, the International Training and Development Center (ITC) under management of Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry – Thai Nguyen University held a farewell ceremony for 142 students and former students to participate in the internship program in Israel.

During from 8 to 11 months of a paid internship at high-tech agricultural farms in Israel, students and former students will learn English more and experience hi-tech agricultural production techniques to create agricultural products with high export value.

After the internship, students and former students will have good foreign language skills and become high-quality human resources to meet the urgent requirements of the agricultural development of Vietnam in the coming time.

To ensure the COVID-19 prevention and control, Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry – Thai Nguyen University hired a private jet to bring students to Israel safely.

At the ceremony, Nui Phao Mining Company Limited (subsidiary of Masan High-Tech Materials) was honored with the title “Corporate Excellence in Thai Nguyen 2021”.

Thai Nguyen stops operation of COVID-19 checkpoints from October 19

COVID-19 checkpoints at the gateways to and from the province have been temporarily closed as from October 19, 2021, according to an official dispatch issued by the provincial People’s Committee. Besides, all production, business, and service activities in the province turn into new normal. Furthermore, people who enter the province from areas at levels 1, 2, and 3 are not required for isolation and the SASR-CoV-2 virus test.

Thai Nguyen has 13 additional projects in industrial zones

The Management Board of the Provincial Industrial Zones representative informed that there had been 13 new projects put into production from the beginning of this year to now, bringing the total number of operating enterprises to 182 out of 262 projects.

On October 16, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Ministries of Information and Communications and Health to organize an online conference with provinces and cities nationwide to inform some important contents on COVID-19 vaccination and solutions to link vaccination data with national population data.
