The 100-year-old H.C. Starck, one of Masan High-Tech Materials’ member firms, has recently announced its Sarnia site in Canada achieved this milestone during the period (September 2019 - March 2021) through a focused effort on preventing, reducing, and eliminating work-related hazards and unsafe behaviors before they occur.

The local Labour Union’s commitment to Health and Safety at the site and their continued engagement with management to enhance the workplace's safety were vital in achieving this goal. As a result, employees have demonstrated a superior level of safety conscious behavior by reaching this milestone, and it proves that all employees are committed to one another’s safety.

“This is an achievement that I am exceptionally proud of.  A zero-injury record takes the total buy in of all our employees and they have certainly stepped up. The contributions of the entire team have resulted in this milestone. I am extremely proud of our entire team who continue to focus on making our operations as efficient and safe as possible” - Ryan Bender, Site Manager.
