Kombucha House introduces the fermented drink products on Luong Ngoc Quyen street, Thai Nguyen city. The showroom consists of 2 floors, with a total area of 300 square meters, an ideal space for guests to taste tea products.
Mr. Ngo Tuan Anh, the Showroom Manager, introduced dozens of Kombucha fermented drink products. The joiners were impressed with the introduction of the "Kombucha Path" with vivid visual images.
Kombucha originates from Northeast China, where it was prized during the Tsin dynasty for its detoxifying and energizing properties. When trade routes expanded, Kombucha was first found in Russia and other Eastern European regions, appearing in Germany around the 20th century. This drink was introduced during the second world war in Germany, or France, and North Africa. Currently, Kombucha is sold around the world, in retail stores, with many different flavors.
Ms. Tran Thanh Viet, Chairman of the Board of Directors, VGreen Group Joint Stock Company, shared: Thai Nguyen, known as the most famous tea region, has a history of development and brand name for over 100 years. However, there is only the form of dried tea, tea bags. These products are not diverse, thereby challenging to attract young people and raise the products' value level. So, we have successfully carried out research and manufacture fermented beverages from Thai Nguyen tea.
Ms. Viet said that the Company has successfully tested about 200,000 liters of Kombucha tea (production line 2,000 liters per day) and is displaying and introducing products in Thai Nguyen and Hanoi, including three main products: Kombucha - Immortal Tea, Kombucha Florist, Herb Kombucha. The Company will build a factory in Song Cau town, Dong Hy district, with a scale of about 6 hectares, both produce tea and create an experience space.
The showroom staff introduced products to customers.
Dr. Pham Quoc Chinh, Director of the Department of Science and Technology, evaluated that Thai Nguyen has an extensive tea-growing area. Still, the processing is not diversified, so the consumption output is not commensurate with the value. The research project's success on Kombucha fermented drink products from the Thai Nguyen tea demonstrates its nutritional and economic value. We will coordinate with relevant departments and branches to support the Company in building a Kombucha factory, serving locals, and becoming an attractive destination for tourists.
Using Thai Nguyen tea, Kombucha has been studied for its inhibitory activity against many pathogenic microorganisms. Kombucha's benefits are a source of antioxidants, liver protectants. The products have been tested and are now available in showrooms in Thai Nguyen and Hanoi.
