Thai Nguyen strictly monitors people returning from pandemic-hit areas

Recently, Mr. Dang Xuan Truong, Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee, presided over the meeting to discuss solutions to monitor people returning from pandemic-hit areas. The leaders of Departments, Branches, and related units attended the meeting. 

Accordingly, after capturing the locals' feedbacks about the current situation of several vehicles avoiding the inter-sectoral checkpoints or making false medical declarations, the Provincial People's Committee has directed the branches to coordinate in researching and advising on the plan to install surveillance cameras at suitable locations on Ha Noi – Thai Nguyen highway. The surveillance camera system also helps the inter-sectoral checkpoints control vehicles effectively. 

In addition, the Provincial People's Committee has directed districts, cities, and towns to control means of transport entering the province, especially drivers returning from pandemic-hit areas, and handle violations on time.

The Provincial People's Committee leader required communes, wards, and towns to urge and direct the COVD-19 team to review and strictly monitor people from pandemic-hit areas.

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Committee and related sectors discussed solutions to manage people returning from localities, especially pandemic-hit areas. 

The Provincial People's Committee leader asked businesses to test for the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and quarantine according to the regulation for workers from other provinces, effectively implementing a large-scale COVID-19 vaccination campaign while trying SARS-CoV-2 tests for subjects at risk of COVID-19 infection in the local.
