Thai Nguyen has five health facilities providing COVID-19 tests by Real-time PCR

On August 15, Song Cong City recorded a COVID-19 case returning from Bac Ninh province. This patient also caused one other case to be infected on August 17.

Recently, Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee organized the Evaluation Conference of PCI in 2020 to discuss solutions to maintain and improve Thai Nguyen's position on the national PCI rankings, further enhancing the investment and business environment in the coming time. 

On August 15, the Provincial Business Association handed over an RT-PCR testing system to test the SARS-CoV-2 virus for the Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

On the afternoon of August 13, at the University of Education (Thai Nguyen University), Thai Nguyen City Medical Center organized a COVID-19 vaccination for 570 international students staying and studying in the province. 

On the afternoon of August 12, the Leader of Samsung Viet Nam had a meeting with the provincial leader, proposing some contents to ensure adequate production for factories in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Working with the delegation were Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly; Mr. Pham Hoang Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.  

Recently, Samsung Thai Nguyen picked up 1,700 workers living in safe areas in Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces to the Company's isolation area before returning to work. 

Thai Nguyen belonged to 6 out of 63 localities with an average monthly income in enterprises in the 2016 - 2019 period of over VND 9.0 million.
