On August 15, the Provincial Business Association handed over an RT-PCR testing system to test the SARS-CoV-2 virus for the Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.
The system includes 2 Real-time PCR machines with six color channels, a DNA/RNA extractor, and accessories for testing the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The Steering Committee has assigned the provincial CDC to manage, exploit and use… RT-PCR machine is a modern device, giving test results of nearly 100 samples simultaneously after 3 hours.
The machine helps to shorten human manipulations with COVID-19 test samples, thereby ensuring safety for medical staff, doctors, testing technicians. This system not only tests for COVID-19 but also tests most other pathogens quickly, accurately, and effectively, minimizing the risk of disease spread in the community.
Mr. Dang Xuan Truong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, recognized the contribution of the Provincial Business Association in the COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control and hopes that the Health sector will continue to improve its testing capacity and timely detect COVID-19 cases.
