On August 28, the Government held a national online conference to deploy the 2021-2022 school year presided by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Secretary of the Provincial Party's Committee, chaired the conference at the Thai Nguyen province bridge point. Attending the meeting was Mr. Trinh Viet Hung, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Although facing the difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in the school year 2020-2021, the Department of Education and Training has completed the tasks of the school year according to the proposed curriculum framework.
At the conference, localities and universities raised issues that need to be resolved, such as: Strengthening mechanisms and policies for the teacher; planning the educational network in industrial parks; Implementing the autonomy of university education; supporting the construction of safe schools; investing in the new education program.
Speaking at the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh acknowledged the achievements of the education sector in the past school year. At the same time, he emphasized that localities need to be proactive and flexible in implementing the educational program framework for 2021-2022. The policy and principles of education development are where there are students; there are teachers and schools.
The online conference connects with all provinces and cities nationwide.
Localities have to focus on thoroughly implementing Resolution 19 of the Party on reforming the organization and management system, improving the quality and performance of public non-business units, especially education.
The Prime Minister called on the entire education sector to uphold the spirit of fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic for everyone and our children's future.
In the past school year, the local education sector has also re-arranged the education system for 40 inter-level units and schools, maintaining and improving the quality of education. The key tasks of the school year 2021-2022 and the educational development goals for 2021-2025 are determined to focus on implementing the New General Education Program, improving the quality of mass education, and orienting effective vocational education. For university education, the sector focuses on training and scientific research based on supply and demand for human resources in each field.
