Samsung Viet Nam proposes Thai Nguyen to support production

On the afternoon of August 12, the Leader of Samsung Viet Nam had a meeting with the provincial leader, proposing some contents to ensure adequate production for factories in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Working with the delegation were Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly; Mr. Pham Hoang Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.  

At the meeting, Mr. Choi Joo Ho, General Director of Samsung Vietnam, said that the operation of Samsung factories in Thai Nguyen and neighboring provinces was stable after controlling the COVID-19 situation in Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces.

Mr. Choi Joo Ho thanked the province for supporting COVID-19 vaccination for Samsung's employees. He suggested that the provincial leaders continue to pay attention and create favorable conditions for Samsung factories and its auxiliary enterprises to maintain efficient production while ensuring good prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai highly appreciated Samsung's cooperation and support for the COVID-19 prevention and control.

Regarding the proposals of Samsung Vietnam, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested the Provincial People's Committee and functional branches give a support plan to implement the dual goals of preventing and fighting the pandemic while ensuring stable production, making a positive contribution to the provincial socio-economic development goals.
