Thai Nguyen has 2 national OCOP products rated at five stars

Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development issued Decision 2890 on June 30, 2021, approved the products' evaluation and classifications under the One Commune-One Product program (OCOP) 2020.

Accordingly, there are 20 approved products. Thai Nguyen has a tea product of Hao Dat Cooperative (Tan Cuong commune, Thai Nguyen city) and a vermicelli product of Viet Cuong Cooperative (Hoa Thuong commune, Dong Hy district) marked 90,86 and 90 points. Three tea products out of all approved products include two of Hao Dat Cooperative and one of Phin Ho Cooperative (Ha Giang province).

“National OCOP Product” certificated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development could use the national OCOP logo and stamp on packages, labels, and the promotional and introductory documents of the products.

The units having the approved products must be responsible for the management and control of product quality according to the list of criteria for evaluating and classifying products of the OCOP Program and improving the quality and image of products as suggested by the National OCOP Council.
