Thai Nguyen receives support for COVID-19 prevention and control

On the afternoon of May 26, Mr. Trinh Viet Hung, the alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control chaired the program to receive the support of Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen Limited Company for COVID-19 prevention and control. 

At the program, the Company presented 1,000 essential gifts worth VND585 million to the Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control to serve the pandemic prevention and control.

Mr. Trinh Viet Hung, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and delegates visited the Provincial Intelligent Operation Center (IOC) located at the headquarters of the Provincial People's Committee.

Mr. Choi Jo Hoo, General Director of Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen Limited Company believes the effects of the province's pandemic prevention and control work and promise ready to accompany the province to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Speaking at the program, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee sincerely thanked the Company’s valuable contributions for the COVID-19 prevention and control. He emphasized that with the consensus and determination of the whole political system, the active participation of the functional forces, the response, and trust of businesses, entrepreneurs, Thai Nguyen province is determined to control the COVID-19 pandemic and continue to implement the "dual goal", both COVID-19 combat and socio-economic development.

The representative of Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen Limited Company visited and presented gifts at the COVID-19 checkpoint at Thinh Dan intersection, Thai Nguyen City.

Also on this day, the Chairman of the People's Committee and other delegates visited the Intelligent Operation Center (IOC) of the province. The Center directs and monitors the COVID-19 prevention and control through the surveillance camera system in the isolation areas in the province.

On this occasion, the representative of the Company visited and presented gifts at the COVID-19 checkpoint at Thinh Dan intersection, Thai Nguyen City.
