Enhancing the responsibility "self-examination and self-correction" of each party member is one of the contents directed by Ms Nguyen Thanh Hai, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee at the five-year preliminary conference on implementing Resolution No. 04-NQ/TW. This conference approved by the Party Committee Provincial military held on May 24. The Resolution mentioned strengthening Party building and rectification, preventing and reversing the deterioration of political ideology, morality, lifestyle, and internal "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" manifestations. Attending the Conference were Mr Trinh Viet Hung, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Colonel Nguyen Van Dong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command.
In recent years, all Party committees in the province's armed forces have thoroughly grasped and thoughtfully implemented Resolution No. 04-NQ/TW. After self-criticism and criticism, party organizations at all levels have taken drastic measures to overcome difficulties, limitations and shortcomings. Working regulations and principles of organizing Party activities have been strictly enforced, promoting democracy, openness and frankness. At all levels of the Party Committee and members, the collectives always have a firm and steadfast political-ideological stance, good moral qualities and no sign of deterioration in political ideology, morality, and lifestyle. Agencies and units have well performed advising local Party committees and authorities on regional defence and military affairs. The overall quality and combat readiness of the provincial armed forces are improved; The quality and beautiful image of "Uncle Ho's Army" is always maintained.
Speaking at the conference, Ms Nguyen Thanh Hai suggested that the Provincial Military Party Committee continue to promote the achieved results and implement the Resolution to enhance the responsibility of "self-examination and self-correction" of each cadre and party member. At the same time, she requested that the units need to actively give plans and solutions to overcome the limitations and shortcomings pointed out after five years of implementing the Resolution and new problems arise; strengthening inspection, supervision and strictly handle violations. In particular, it is necessary to improve internal politics, building agencies and units that are safe, preserving internal unity, uniting between the army and people, building a safe area, exemplary and typical units.
