Thai Nguyen introduces VKombucha fermented tea

On April 28th, Thai Nguyen Department of Science and Technology held a ceremony to introduce Thai Nguyen VKombucha fermented tea and open the Kombucha House. Mr. Trinh Viet Hung, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Vu Duy Hoang, Head of the Propaganda and Training Commission, Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Duong Van Luong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and leaders of relevant departments, branches and units attended the ceremony.

VGreen Group has 10 years of experience in growing raw material areas to product and process drinks. In 2020, Vgreen Group collaborated with the Department of Science and Technology to successfully research the provincial scientific project: “Researching to complete the technology and production process of a fermented drink from Thai Nguyen tea”. As a result, VKombucha fermented tea was created, made from excellent Thai Nguyen’s black tea that is 100% from natural ingredients. All 15 flavors are brewed with Scoby yeast - a proprietary formula of VGreen Group. It is a clean, safe, healthy and high nutritional value product. The advent of VKombucha and its diversified models contribute to increase the economic value of the tea tree. VGreen Group has been investing over VND 30 billion to build 3 hectare material area and VKombucha Factory in Dong Hy district.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Duong Van Luong - Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee congratulated and highly appreciated the collaboration of Vgreen Group and the Department of Science and Technology to create a new product for the province. The province committed to accompany businesses and corporations to exploit more province’s potentials and advantages, especially in agricultural sector. He also wished that in the coming time, the Department of Science and Technology and VGreen Group would continue to research and produce more products so that Thai Nguyen tea can be exploited effectively and sustainably.

The advent of Thai Nguyen VKombucha fermented tea and VKombucha factory in Dong Hy district are golden opportunities to promote the branch and value of Thai Nguyen tea in domestic and foreign markets, lifting the value of Vietnam’s agricultural products in general.
