On March 31st, Phu Dinh Commune People’s Committee inaugurated and put Phu Ninh village's cultural house into use.
The cultural house was sponsored by Cheongdo district, Gyeongsangbuk province (South Korea), and the Saemaul Globalization Foundation (SGF) with the total construction cost of more than VND 2 billion. The work was started in September 2020, covering nearly 1,400 square meters with 315 square meters for the cultural house; the remaining area for the yard and some other works.
Phu Ninh village, that has merged from 3 hamlets including Phu Ninh 1, Phu Ninh 2, Phu Ninh 3, now has 148 households. In June 2019, representatives Cheongdo district and SGF Fund visited to take a survey in Phu Ninh, then decided to implement Seamaul - new village model there. After nearly two years, Phu Ninh village has been invested to construct 100% of the road system, the power line and the works supplying clean. Along with that, local people there have actively changed the crop structure, produced tea following methods of organic farming. Thereby, the economic and spiritual life of local people has been improved day by day, the village's appearance has changed drastically.
The cultural house will be a place for cultural activities and meetings, contributing to gradually improving the spiritual life of local people.
