Cooperation in the field of agricultural development

In the afternoon of December 14th, the delegation led by Mr. Cho Hyun Joo, General Director of the Korean NGO Global Civic Sharing (GCS) worked in the province. Welcoming and working with the delegation was Mr. Nhu Van Tam, Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, representatives of some departments, branches and localities.

At the meeting, Mr. Nhu Van Tam thanked GCS for helping the province implement many programs and projects in mountainous and highland districts. Through working with the provincial specialized agencies, he would like GCS to continue investing and supporting the implementation of further projects in the province, especially organic farming projects. He also asked the departments, localities to actively coordinate with the GCS implementation of the project. The province will continue to create favorable conditions for GCS to implement the project.

Mr. Cho Huyn Joo thanked the provincial leaders and hoped to cooperate with the province to effectively implement projects for people, especially disadvantaged people.

An the same day, the Delegation worked with the provincial departments on the potential and cooperation plan of GCS in the fields of agricultural and rural development, building models of sustainable agricultural production based on the advantages of the province. In addition, senior organic agriculture experts from GCS have shared much of Korea's experience in organic farming. The delegation also visited some models of cultivation and husbandry in Phuc Tan commune ( Pho Yen town).
