The drainage and wastewater treatment project in the southern part of Thai Nguyen has a total investment of nearly 439 billion VND, of which the Belgian ODA is over 252 billion VND, the rest is the budget of the State budget. country. This project will be implemented in 7 southern wards of the city with the capacity of 8,000 m3/ day. Equipment of wastewater treatment technology is European standards, modern technology processing line. The project will contribute to the construction of drainage and wastewater treatment systems in the northern and southern parts of the city, while contributing to environmental protection. The Sodraep Drainage and Sewerage Development Network, Belgium was selected as the consultant, supply and installation contractor of the project. Accordingly, at the end of 2015, the contract signing ceremony of the package "Consultancy, supply and installation of equipment" between Thai Nguyen Urban Water Supply and Drainage Company and the Network Development Company drainage and clean water Sodraep, Kingdom of Belgium has been taking place. At this time, the project is being submitted to competent authorities for additional appraisal of the medium-term public investment plan 2016-2020 and allocating capital in the development investment expenditure from 2018.
