International Conference on Capacity Development for Teachers and Educational Administrators in the Global Context

On 28th and 29th November, at Thai Nguyen University of Education, the Ministry of Education and Training in collaboration with the World Bank organized the workshop entitled " Capacity Development for Teachers and Educational Administrators in the Globalization Context ". The seminar was attended by over 300 experts, scientists and lecturers from universities in the world such as USA, Australia, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. Teachers, research institutes throughout the country.  

Five main contents discussed by the delegates are: Capacity of teachers, managers of educational institutions and pedagogic teachers' capacity in the context of international and regional integration; To develop training programs for teachers and administrators in the global context; To train core trainers and develop the contingent of lecturers to meet the requirements of training teachers and administrators in the global context; The model of training and fostering teachers and administrators of educational establishments in the global context; Renovate the management of training and fostering of teachers and administrators in the global context.

Professor Yvonne Pratt-Johnson from St. John's - American refers to multicultural, multi-lingual, multi-lingual school, which considers capacity building for teachers an ongoing, unlimited journey.

Professor Chokchai Yuenyong from Khon Kaen University, Thailand emphasized the necessary skills of the teacher in the 21st century, in which instructional capacity is provided, equips learners with knowledge and essential skills related to the fields of science, technology, engineering and math.
