On July 27, Mr. Nhu Van Tam, Standing Committee Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee met with representatives of the company for the development of wastewater treatment and water supply networks (SODRAEP), Belgium. Attending the meeting were representatives of departments: External Affairs, Planning and Investment, Finance, Construction, Natural Resources and Environment; Leaders of Thai Nguyen city.
At the meeting, Mr. Damien Leonard, Deputy General Director of Sodaraep, introduced the Company's capacity, confirmed that the Company was good in charge of the " consultancy, equipment supply and installation" under the project of drainage and wastewater treatment system in the central south of Thai Nguyen city. The company is committed to install the best equipment system, the company will help Thai Nguyen province in training equipment operation, support the propaganda about the project. Talking with the delegation, Mr. Nhu Van Tam affirmed that Thai Nguyen province will create the best conditions for the Company to implement of the project. Within the framework of the working session, the delegation also visited the waste water treatment plant of the project of Drainage and waste water treatment in Thai Nguyen city center located in Gia Sang ward.
It is known that the drainage and wastewater treatment project in the central southern part of Thai Nguyen city was approved in Decision No. 1889 / QĐ-UBND dated May 27, 2015 by the provincial People's Committee. The project has a total investment of 439 billion VND (equivalent to 18.8 million EUR), of which ODA loans amounted to 253 billion VND, equivalent to 10.8 million EUR, the State budget of 186 billion VND equivalent to 8 million EUR. The project is invested by the drainage and urban infrastructure development company Thai Nguyen. On December 1, 2015, the contract signing ceremony of the "Consultancy, equipment supply and installation" was conducted, with a package worth nearly 10.8 million EUR (using ODA capital of Belgium). The company for the development of wastewater treatment and water supply networks (SODRAEP), Belgium was successful bidder.
