Phong Sa Ly Delegation (Laos) paid a working visit to Thai Nguyen

On July 29 and 30, The Phong Sa Ly Delegation (Laos) led by Mr. Di La Chan Phet, Deputy Director of Department of Education and Sports paid a working visit to some Thai Nguyen branches.

Being a mountainous province in the Northwest of Laos, Phong Sa Ly is a twin province with Thai Nguyen in bilateral diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Laos. During the working program, the delegation met the departments: Education & Training, Culture, Sports and Tourism; College of Finance and Economics, Thai Nguyen Vocational School No. 1 Ministry of Defense. The delegation figured out the human resource training policy; Investment experience in education and training development for ethnic minorities in upland areas; Issues attracting investment to develop tourism associated with traditional culture...

After listening the units and branches report, sharing experiences in their field work, the leaders of the Phong Sa Ly delegation proposed some solutions to strengthen the linking train and tourism, as well as recognized the results in the field of Thai Nguyen human resource training cooperation for Phong Sa Ly province. Accordingly, from 2015 up to now, Thai Nguyen province has trained nearly 100 pupils, students of colleges, universities and vocational training for Phong Sa Ly province through Thai Nguyen budget support resources, scholarships from the Lao government and corporate sponsorship, as well as full scholarships. Most of the students after graduation have returned to Phong Sa Ly province to work and promote good capacity as well as being the people connecting friendship between Thai Nguyen and Phong Sa Ly.
