On August 15, the delegation of Gyeong-sang-buk province (South Korea) had a meeting with Thai Nguyen province to discuss the plan to jointly organize the Gyeong-ju World Cultural Exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City from November 09 to December 03, 2017. Mr. Nhu Van Tam, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee welcomed the delegation.
According to the plan, the Gyeong - ju World Cultural Exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City will include art performances, friendship sport events, traditional cultural experiences, Vietnamese - Korean games, introduce and promote Vietnamese and Korean goods…In addition, the parade program called Korea - Vietnam Youth empathy roadshow passing through Thai Nguyen - Hanoi - Hue - Da Nang - Ho Chi Minh City will also be held from October 30 to November 11, 2017. The program will be participated by 100 volunteers from all over the world. Volunteers marched through the Vietnamese provinces and cities to organize exchange activities between youths in different countries and strengthen the long-term relationship between Vietnam and Korea.
Before the requests of the Gyeong-sang-buk delegation, Mr. Nhu Van Tam said Thai Nguyen province is ready to coordinate well organized the opening ceremony of the Korea-Vietnam Youth Empathy Roadshow program in the province as well as support all meaningful activities of Gyeong-sang-buk province in Vietnam. He also asked the Department of Foreign Affairs, Provincial Youth Union to closely coordinate with the delegation to organize and finalize the contents and programs held in the province, appointing units to introduce the booth at the exhibition.
The Gyeong-ju World Cultural Exhibition is expected to overtake the meaning of a cultural exchange event that opens the way for multilateral exchanges between Vietnam and Korea in general and Thai Nguyen - Gyeong-sang-buk in particular.
