The provincial leaders welcomed and had a working session with the Malaysian Embassy in Vietnam

In the afternoon of June 16, Mr. Trinh Viet Hung, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee welcomed and had a working session with the delegation led by Mr. Mohd Zamruni Bin Khalid, Malaysian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Vietnam. Attending the meeting are the leaders of Department of Foreign Affairs, Office of the Provincial People's Committee and Thai Nguyen University.

 At the meeting, Mr. Trinh Viet Hung expressed joy and excitement to the delegation as well as talked about general information on the socio-economic development, potentials, strengths and situation of attracting foreign investment into the locality. The Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee emphasized that Thai Nguyen has strength in industry, agriculture and education. With these strengths, the province expects that Malaysian investors will come to research and explore the provincial potentials and strengths as well as create good bilateral cooperation in many fields in the future.

The Ambassador Mohd Zamruni Bin Khalid affirmed that Malaysia always respect the importance of relations development with Thai Nguyen province in particular and Vietnam in general in many fields and the Malaysian Embassy will do his best to promote the cooperation with the province, focusing on the fields of industrial production and education – training in the near future.
