Afternoon 19th April, Mr. Doan Van Tuan, Vice chairman of People’s Committee of the Province hosted the working session with Vietnam tea association on cooperation agreement between Thai Nguyen and Korea Tea association.
On the frame of the 3rd Thai Nguyen Tea Festival, on 28 November 2015, representatives of the provincial leader worked with representatives of Korean Tea committee to discuss about cooperation and development for Thai Nguyen tea. The two sides made agreement on some contents: Korean Tea committee will send experts to the province in order to survey and consult the technology of tea planting and processing, to support promotion and introduction of tea product in Vietnam generally, in Thai Nguyen particularly; to do research on tea market in Korea as well as in the world; to invite Thai Nguyen province’s leaders and enterprises to attend international tea exhibition 2016 in Seoul, Korea from 8 to 14 June 2016. At the working session, the delegates also discussed about enhancement of Thai Nguyen Tea association’s operation; solutions for tea development.
Conclusion at the meeting, Mr Doan Van Tuan assign Department of rural and agriculture development to cooperate with Vietnam Tea association in making plan to attend the international tea exhibition 2016 in Seoul, Korea. Thai Nguyen tea association organizes the meeting to bring out proposal for tea growing in Thai Nguyen; Department of rural and agriculture development makes re-assessment of Thai Nguyen tea management board in order to have solution for Thai Nguyen tea plants.
