In the series of activities at the 3rd Tea Festival, Thai Nguyen – Vietnam 2015, on November 5th, Thai Nguyen Provincial Women’s Union associated with Viet Phuong Wedding Studio Center held the preliminary round of the Miss Tea-Land Contest 2015 (Picture).
Attending the contest were 125 contestants from Thai Nguyen and many other provinces, cities such as: Quang Ninh, Phu Tho, Son La, etc. who are living, studying and working in the province. In the morning, the participants drew candidate numbers and were conducted anthropometric tests (measurements of body size, height, and weight). In the same-day afternoon, the candidates participated in the optional costume performance, the self-introduction, the appearance and voice examination. At the end of the preliminary round, the Organization Board selected 50 contestants to take part in the final round which is happening from November 10th to 15th, 2015.
On this occasion, Viet Phuong Wedding Studio Center awarded a contestant who got the most votes via the internet and an audience who made the most accurate prediction. The Miss Tea-land Contest - one of the main activities at the 3rd Tea Festival, is going to be held at the centre of Thai Nguyen city from November 5th to 27th this year. With the theme “The perfume and beauty of tea land”, the contest aims to contribute to the introduction and promotion of Thai Nguyen land and people.
