On November 5th, the Thai Nguyen Cooperative Alliance held a meeting to implement the plan on organizing the scientific workshop with the theme “Improving the quality and value of Thai Nguyen tea products” at the 3rd Tea Festival, Thai Nguyen – Vietnam 2015. Attending the meeting were the representatives of Cooperatives, Enterprises, traditional villages, producing, processing and tea consumption cooperatives in the province. According to the plan, the workshop is going to be held on November 27th at Thai Hai Reserve Area of Ecological Houses-on-stilts Village (Thai Nguyen City).
This is also an opportunity for managers, scientists as well as cooperatives, craft villages, enterprises, farmers producing and processing tea of Vietnam and other countries to meet and exchange aiming to find out the orientation to improve the quality and value of Thai Nguyen tea products. Simultaneously, the workshop also aims to introduce the potential and position of the tea plants, tea products for the socio-economic development of the province; to evaluate the situation and solutions in improving the quality of Thai Nguyen tea products; to call businesses, cooperatives, domestic and international investors for studying, exploring, promoting the investment, joint-venture activities to contribute to the tea development of Vietnam and Thai Nguyen ... On this occasion, a number of businesses, cooperatives and craft villages registered to fund the workshop nearly VND 200 million in total.
