35 contestants enter the Final Round of Miss Tea-land Contest 2015

In the series of main activities at 3rd Tea Festival, Thai Nguyen – Vietnam 2015,  on November 15th evening, at Thai Nguyen Information and Culture Center, Thai Nguyen Provincial Women’s Union coordinated with Viet Phuong Wedding Studio Center held the final oral examination of Miss Tea-land Contest 2015 with theme “The perfume and beauty of Tea Land”.

Attending the meeting were Ms. Ma Thi Nguyet, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Chairwoman of Tea Festival Organization; the comrades of Provincial Standing Committee, leaders of several departments, agencies and units in the province.

The “Miss Tea-land Contest” is held to honor the beauty of tea-land’s women including the beauty of the soul, intelligence and behavior in life, the ingenuity and talent in Tea Cuture of Vietnamese women. Previously, at the Preliminary round of the contest, the candidates had a test of anthropometry (measurements of body size, height, and weight). The organization board, anthropometric team and secretary team selected 47 worthiest participants to enter the final oral examination.

At the final oral examination (from November 14th to 15th), with a slogan: beautiful appearance, beautiful interior, knowledgeable and understand the land and people of Thai Nguyen, the contestants went through 3 rounds: knowledge of Thai Nguyen tea, tea culture; the social and traditional understandings of Vietnamese women, the talent performance. Basing on 3 rounds’ results: Ao dai – traditional costume, swimming costume and optional costume, the Organization Board found out 35 best contestants to go on the final taken place at Thai Nguyen Information and Culture Center from November 16th to 27th. The contest includes some contents as follows: Tea infusing, tea picking,  social and charity activities participating, potential and strengths advertising in tourism and the tea industry. The Final night will be run with 3 perfomances: traditional costume, swimming costume, optional costume and the interview round is happening on the evening of November 27th.
