On August 23rd, 2015, Prudential Vietnam and Phu Tho General Hospital entered into a cooperation agreement to implement the hospital expense guarantee program.
This is a preeminent program that Prudential has deployed nation-wide with 3 outstanding features as follows: the most associate hospitals, the fast implementation of hospital expense guarantee and the top priority for customers with free hotline 1800 1247. Attending the signing ceremony were Assoc. Professor, Dr. Luong Ngoc Khue, Director of the Medical Examination and Treatment Management Department – the Ministry of Health; Dr., Doctor Nguyen Huy Ngoc, Deputy Director of the Provincial Health Department, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Phu Tho General Hospital; Ms. Nguyen Thi Giang, Deputy General Manager of Insurance Transaction Division of Prudential Vietnam. This program has attracted the association of 81 hospitals, especially including 21 public hospitals. As soon as Prudential receives the information from patients, within 60 minutes, the patients will get the hospital expense guarantee notice without any requirements of resolving insurance benefits as before. If the treatment fee is more than the expense paid by insurance benefits, patients only have to pay for the hospital the rest of difference at the date of discharge and vice versa.
