Launching Thai Nguyen Tourism Season 2015

On 17th April morning, The PPC held the opening ceremony of Thai Nguyen tourism season in 2015 at Thai Hai reserve area of ecological house-on-stills village. 

Attending on the opening ceremony had representatives from  Culture, Sports and Tourism Ministry, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, and some Departments and Institute…; the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Travel Association of  provinces in the region. On the part of Thai Nguyen province, Mrs. Ma Thi Nguyet, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairwoman were attending and directing on the opening ceremony together with the representatives of departments and agencies in the province and thousands of people and tourists.

Thai Nguyen tourism season in 2015 with the theme "Thai Nguyen destination of ecotourism  - Resort" is the one of the tourist activities aimed to promoting the propagation and promotion about the country, people, culture and products of Thai Nguyen to friends, tourists in the country; also creating the opportunities for enterprises of all economic sectors to expand the cooperation links, build  travel tour between provinces in the region, the area of tourists development cooperation signed with Thai Nguyen, while raising awareness for residential community about role of tourism in the socio-economic development process of province.

In the framework of the opening ceremony of Thai Nguyen tourism season this year, tourists were visiting, experiencing at Thai Hai reserve area of ecological house-on-stills village with many activities imbued with cultural identity of the Thai Nguyen countryside such as: cultural and artistic exchanges of Tay, Nung ethnics; appriciate tea culture; reappear the festivals and folk games; showroom for tour’s product, propagandize and popularize about tourism’s potential of Thai Nguyen province. As a part of the opening activities of Thai Nguyen tourist season (takes place in two days of April 16th and 17th), the guests also had opportunities to visit the Tan Cuong traditional Tea villages, Tea cultural space; ecotourism destinations of Coc Lake area; ATK Dinh Hoa historical relic area; Vietnam’s Ethnic Groups museum…

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mrs. Ma Thi Nguyet recored the contribution of culture, sports and tourism sector in recent years for the development of tourism. In the recent years, Thai Nguyen tourism has been mobilizing resources to promote the growth as investment and upgrading infrastructure; construction and restoration of historical relic and scenic spot in local. At the same time, local authorities and departments in the province has been actively coordinating and implementing effective programs stimulate domestic tourism with the theme "The Vietnamese Travel Vietnam - Each trip more love homeland"; Action plan about tourism development promoting solutions in the new period of the province. She also stressed that Thai Nguyen has been being an red address in the historical education about the patriotic tradition for the future generations, becoming an attractive destination for both domestic and foreign tourists. 

On this occasion, Thai Nguyen Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism rewarded for six units and three individuals who have made outstanding achievements in the development of tourism in the province during the period of 2011-2014.
