Visiting of delegation from Gyeongsangbuk-do province to Thai Nguyen province

On 22nd of December, Mr. Park Eui Sik, Director of Gyeongsangbuk Health and Welfare Department – leader of the delegation from Gyeongsangbuk-do province visited and worked in Thai Nguyen province at the Office of the Thai Nguyen’s PPC. Attending the meeting were Mr. Duong Ngoc Long, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, and leaders of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Health, Thai Nguyen International Hospital, Thai Nguyen Medicine College.

At the meeting, Mr. Duong Ngoc Long highly appreciated  the relative cooperation  and the traditional friendship over the years between Thai Nguyen province and Gyeongsangbuk province in particular and Vietnam - South Korea in general. Along with foreigneres’s investment enterprises, many Korean investors have come to Thai Nguyen in the last few years, in which, the key project is the Samsung high-tech complex - phase 2, Thai Nguyen province’s FDI has become the first  leading province for Foreign Direct Investment’s attraction in Vietnam in 2014 with more than 3.2 billion USD.

Mr. Park Eui Sik thanked the warmly welcome from Thai Nguyen province and shared his delegation’s concerns in this visiting. Accordingly, the delegation would like to exchange and learn experience and explore the opportunities for the cooperation with a few of hospitals and Samsung factory in Thai Nguyen, build a program and cooperative plan to make a breakthrough in the field of health cooperation in particular and cooperative relationship between two provinces in general.

During the meeting, Mr. Duong Ngoc Long and delegates witnessed the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement in the health field between Thai Nguyen International Hospital and  Gumi Gangdong  Hospital, Korea.

The delegation also visited and worked with Thai Nguyen Medicine College. On that day, the two sides discussed about the cooperation in healthcare matter and technology transfer. Especially in the field of cosmetic and spinal surgery. Mr. Park Eui Sik agreed to cooperate and support Thai Nguyen Medicine College in technology transfer, expertise doctor training for hospital.
