Thai Nguyen Chairman of the Provincial Government welcomed Japanese JETRO Organization

On 25, December, at the PPC office, Mr. Duong Ngoc Long, deputy secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee and Thai Nguyen Chairman of the Provincial Government welcomed Mr Atsusuke Kawada, Chief Representative of the Japan International Trade Organization (JETRO) and Vice Chairman of the Association of Japanese Enterprises in Vietnam (see the photo) and the members of the delegation and to hold a meeting with them afterwards. Attending the meeting were also the leaders of some of the provincial departments concerned.

Mr. Duong Ngoc Long, Thai Nguyen Chairman of the Provincial Government, expressed delighted to work with Mr Kawada and JETRO delegation, affirmed that this mission  is to open up prospects of investment to promote Japanese enterprises in Thai Nguyen in the near future.

Mr. Kawada thanked Mr. Duong Ngoc Long, Thai Nguyen Chairman of the Provincial Government  for spending time and working with the delegation . Although Mr. Kawada has just taken over at JETRO, he had immediately deployed activities for investment promotion, to support Japanese small and medium enterprises  into Vietnam, including Thai Nguyen. Mr. Kawada said that recently, the Korean businesses have invested heavily in Thai Nguyen, the most prominent of which, is the Samsung Group. Japanese businesses also desire to promote investment and deployment of adequate numbers in Thai Nguyen in the future. In the earliest time, JETRO will organize a businesses delegation from Japan to Vietnam to investigate and seek investment opportunities.

Thai Nguyen Chairman of the Provincial Government thanked Mr Kawada and Japan JETRO Organization  for the good intentions for Thai Nguyen. These desires  are intended to match with the investment policy of the province today. Thai Nguyen Province will specially interest  and coordinate closely with the Japanese businesses to make investing in local as favourable as possible.

On the same days, Chairman of People’s Committee of Thai Nguyen province welcomed Mr. Ton Sinh Thanh, the Ambassador of Vietnam in Sri Lanka. Mr. Ton Sinh Thanh briefed about the Sri Lanka country , the potential strength and ability to cooperate with Vietnam, to invest in general, and in the Thai Nguyen province in particular. After the meeting, Mr. Ton Sinh Thanh wished to have opportunities to introduce, advertise and promote investment between Sri Lanka businesses and Thai Nguyen province in the field of agricultural, mainly in  tea tree...
