Conferred the Investment Certificate on Doosun Vietnam Co., Ltd

On 14 May, the Provincial People’s Committee worked with Doosun Vietnam Co., Ltd and conferred the Certificate of Investment in high-tech packing printing production plant on the Company. Mr. Duong Ngoc Long, Deputy Provincial Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee presided the working session; Also present in the working session were leaders of Departments: Finance, Natural Resources – Environment, Industry and Trade, Foreign Affairs and leaders of the People’s Committee of Song Cong town. For Doosun Vietnam Co., Ltd, there was presence of Mr. Myung Kee Jung, Chairman of the board of Doosun Co., Ltd and some members of the Board of directors.

Doosun Vietnam Co., Ltd’s project of production and printing of carton bags, paper bag cover and paper box cases in types was approved for investment by the Provincial People’s Committee according to the Investment Certificate no. 171 043 000 005 dated 13 May 2013. The plant will be situated in Nguyen Gon industrial zone, Cai Dan ward (Song Cong town) with an area of 1.5 hectares, expected capacity of 10,000 tons of products per year. The project has total investment of approximately 14 million USD. Operation period is 50 years. As planned, the Project will start in June and put into operation by October, 2013.

Speaking at the working session, Mr. Duong Ngoc Long introduced to Korean investors Thai Nguyen province’s strengths on geographical position, transport and human resources. Especially in recent years, when Thai Nguyen province has been facilitating to attract investments, it has promoted administrative reform, active land clearance, created advantageous conditions and environment for enterprises to invest in Thai Nguyen. So that the Project will be implemented on schedule, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee asked Departments, branches and sectors for continuously providing Doosun Vietnam Co., Ltd with instructions for plant investment and construction procedures in accordance with the law. In the short term, Department of Natural Resources – Environment and Song Cong town promptly perform land clearance to hand over on schedule. For Doosun Co., Ltd, it is required to strictly comply with requirements on investment, construction to ensure the schedule as committed.
