Thai Nguyen Signs an Agreement on Investment Cooperation with SaLo (Finland)

During the visit, the delegation of SaLo headed by Mr. Kara Vaha - Director of SaLo Department of Trade attended a conference on investment cooperation between Thai Nguyen and SaLo in August 14.  

Participants include Heads of Thai Nguyen Department of Industry & Trade, Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Information & Telecommunication, Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee Office as well as TISCO and Tan Cuong Hoang Binh Joint Stock Cooperation.

Mr. Dinh Khac Hien - Director of Department of Industry & Trade, at the conference, introduced delegates to backgrounds of potentiality and advantages of Thai Nguyen in industry, agriculture, forestry and tourism. Through the signed memorandum between both sides (in March, 2011), he suggested SaLo enterprises invest into such mutually beneficial and potential fields as steel production; automobile accessories and assemblers; spare parts and mechanical production; electronic industry; tea and forest products processing.

As the 3^rd greatest human resources training center in Viet Nam with 7 universities and more than 20 colleges, Thai Nguyen delivers skilled scientific engineers and workers to not only Thai Nguyen, but other provinces as well.

After discussions about a number of trade and investment cooperation and development contents, Mr. Hien and Mr. Vaha signed an agreement on industry support cooperation between Thai Nguyen Department of Industry & Trade and YRITYSSALO Department of Trade (Finland). The agreement signed on this occasion is a basis of both sides and enterprises for investment cooperation and enhancement in the next time.
