A delegation of SaLo City (Finland), headed by Mr. Kara Vaha – Director of SaLo Department of Trade, paid a visit to Thai Nguyen in August 13.
Mr. Duong Ngoc Long – Deputy Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee, accompanied by Heads of Department of Industry & Trade, Department of Foreign Affairs and Thai Nguyen People’s Committee Office, worked with the delegation.
In the event, Mr. Long expressed his pleasure to meet and talk with the delegation. He introduced backgrounds of Thai Nguyen to Mr. Vaha and his members, and also affirmed Thai Nguyen, as the heart of the region, stays full of potentiality and advantages for both international and national investors.
Mr. Vaha appreciated the warm welcome from Thai Nguyen and expected that cooperation in trade and among enterprises of both sides would become far closer as per with mutual advantages and equalization.
SaLo City, located in the West of Finland, is known for its early developed industry, especially in telecommunications and mobile phone industries. As minor as its population of about 50,000; however, there are now 3,500 enterprises in the city that shows its extremely high labor needs and life quality.
Mr. Vaha and his members also visited and searched for opportunities of investment cooperation with such enterprises as TISCO and Tan Cuong Hoang Binh Joint Stock Cooperation when being in Thai Nguyen.
The delegation would discuss then sign an agreement on trade and investment cooperation with departments, industries and enterprises in Thai Nguyen in August 14.
