Indian Officials to Investigate Socio-economic Development Projects

Less than 70 Indian officials, led by Mr. Dushyant Nariala, Deputy Director of Administrative Services Organization as well as representatives of Indian Embassy in Vietnam, had a meeting with Mr. Duong Ngoc Long, Deputy Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee also representatives of the provincial departments and agencies in Thai Nguyen on July, 24th.

Representatives of Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Health, Department of Education and Training, also Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Home Affairs and Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs had a brief introduction of the provincial investment potentiality and opportunities, experiences on administrative renovation, all-level authorized public services reforms, experiences on socio-economic development and poverty reduction within the province. In particular, heads of Department of Education and Training and Department of Health made a statement of all-level education and training situations as well as recent local health care and protection and answered concerns of India delegates on health and education.

 

Mr. Duong Ngoc Long appreciated the Indian delegates’ visit to Viet Nam and Thai Nguyen. He also proposed that 2 sides go on with cooperation in such fields as research, human resources training, health care and combined implementations for projects related to poverty reduction in the province. To the success of the visit, it is hoped the cooperation between Thai Nguyen and Indian Administrative Services Organization would be of further development in the future.

 

The Indian delegates also visited Thai Nguyen University of Technology and Information, Thai Nguyen General Hospital and Thai Nguyen Water Resources Operations One-Member Company Limited in the same day. (Photos)
